Terms of Use (EULA) for Rize

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Rize app ("Rize", "the app"). Rize is provided by Efe Aksoy ("the developer", "we", "us"). By downloading or using Rize, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Rize on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and these Terms.

2. What Rize does

Rize is an alarm app that requires you to complete a challenge (such as solving a math problem, repeating a memory pattern, or typing a phrase) before an alarm is dismissed. Rize relies on Apple's system alarm features to ring alarms.

3. Not a critical or medical service

Rize is provided for personal convenience only. While we work to make alarms reliable, the app depends on your device, its operating system, and its settings, all of which are outside our control. You should not rely on Rize as the sole means of waking for safety-critical, medical, or otherwise important events. The developer is not responsible for missed alarms, oversleeping, or any consequences arising from them.

4. Subscriptions (Rize Pro)

Rize offers an optional auto-renewable subscription called "Rize Pro" that unlocks additional features.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings, under Subscriptions.
Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

All payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple. Refund requests are subject to Apple's policies; the developer cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of any applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Rize is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alarms will always ring.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including missed alarms.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
